What’s in a Name?

Kokkinos — pronounced ko-kee-nos — is the Greek word for red. Deep, warm, unapologetic red. The colour of wine held up to candlelight, of a bar counter at the end of a long Thursday, of the kind of evening that starts with one drink and becomes something worth staying for.

It is a fitting name for a restro bar that takes its cocktails seriously, its happy hour honestly, and its alfresco terrace personally.

The Kokkinos Restro bar Sector 44 carries aged single malts, blended Scotch, imported gins, rums, vodkas, and tequilas alongside a curated wine and champagne selection. The cocktail programme is made from scratch — no pre-mixes, no shortcuts. The bartending team builds the bar’s reputation one drink at a time, which is the only way a hotel bar earns the neighbourhood’s trust over a decade.

Kokkinos for Corporate Client Entertainment

The Kokkinos alfresco terrace at 6,00 pm on a Thursday is one of the more effective corporate entertainment venues in Sector 44’s range. Thirty-two outdoor covers, a bar that can produce a round of cocktails without a service gap, a kitchen running proper plates rather than bar snacks, and an address that communicates hospitality without requiring the client to drive to MG Road. For small-group client entertainment (6 to 20 guests) in an informal register, Kokkinos is the answer that does not require a booking window of more than 24 hours.
